History of the Supreme Court

 The Supreme Court is the most powerful part the government. This YouTube video supports the reason why the supreme court is as powerful as it is because it relies on the respect and trust of the people. What was really interesting about the Supreme Court is that over the past sixteen years there have been one hundred Justices. One of the most important people to ever be in the Supreme Court was John Marshell. 

<p> Another thing that I found to be surprising from the YouTube Video is that we do not have the original Amendment but the one after the war. Before watching this YouTube video I thought that the Justices would meet every couple of months but in reality, they meet every week. Also, something else that I learned from this YouTube video is that the public will find out the decision of the Justices in late June I thought that the public would know later than that. 

<p> I also thought that it was interesting how impactful John Marshell was for the Supreme Court. The Supreme court also has a meeting with attorneys to ask them questions about the case or issue that is presented. The crazy part is that they only have 30 minutes to ask questions and for the attorneys to answer. Lastly, in YouTube Video Part 1 and YouTube Video Part 2 the Justices talk about their own experiences of working in the Supreme Court. 

<p> Most of the Supreme Court Justices find that can take up to a couple of years to feel not anxious and uncomfortable or feel out of place. Many of the Justices also have said what their first time walking into a meeting as a Justice was like. Many said that it didn't feel real or felt incredible to be in the same room as so many other important people. So, in all the Supreme Court is a place where the nine Justices go to talk and make decision about issues the public have.
